Week 12, Spring 2022
- Start: Monday, April 4
- End: Friday, April 8
Summary
This week we will discuss hypothesis testing. We will focus on the Wald and likelihood ratio tests.
Learning Objectives
After completing this week, you are expected to be able to:
- Understand hypothesis testing concepts such as statistical hypotheses, errors, power, level, p-values, etc.
- Use a Wald test to carry out a hypothesis test.
- Use a likelihood ratio test to carry out a hypothesis test.
- Use a permutation test to carry out a hypothesis test.
